Some times I order online and sometimes I get in bulk directly from Dr. Manthena gari arogya nilayam at Vijayawada.

Our intention is never to serve various flavours of honey in the same season because that has not been practically possible for us so far. I have been placing orders after I get recommendation from Mathena garu. I am using Basha honey for multiple purposes; for intake, for external applications like skin problems, brushing teeth, etc and enjoying the results. I saw good result when i applied basha honey to get rid of my skin problem.

It is observed that honey is becoming hard. Also please inform the shelf life of honey.

Raw honey’s properties keep varying. It is natural for raw honey to become hard. You can use the honey even like that, it is perfectly healthy. Or you can place the honey under the hot sun at 40 degrees celsius and it should melt with the sun’s heat.
There is no expiry date for raw honey.

2. Most of the work of producing honey is already done by honey bees. Human intervention only comes to take that honey. We do not have any additional infrastructure costs because we do not process our honey. I am from Bangalore. I saw one video of Mantena Satyanarayana Raju garu. He told about Basha honey in that video. From then Iam using that. But one time I got 2 bottles in solid state. I was aftraid. I got doubt Am I using pure honey or not? But one time I saw one pamplet in that box. In winter season sometimes it may happen. Keep the bottle outside in temperature for 2 days to become normal. But in bangalore we dont get that much of temperatute what U told. So I got 2 bottles waste. So requesting U plz provide the return policy also if there is any problem in that bottles.

Mar 2021 review:
Till now we have ordered 3 orders of 4 bottles pack.
From the last two orders, the honey was looking different.
It developed crystals at the bottom of the bottle.
1/4 th of the honey at the bottom turned into pale colour and crystallization seems to be adulterated.
We would like to share images as well with you for more clarity. But, there is no provision given in this message.

What happened to the honey is called crystallisation of honey. This happens to natural/raw honey. Crystallised honey comes back to its liquid state at 40 degrees celsius, when kept in hot sun. It is a perfectly natural phenomenon to happen for natural/raw honey.

This is my 3rd order and am seeing issues with the quality. It does not taste like pure honey..when I turn the bottle upside down…i see a layer being formed at the bottom..which I didn’t see it happening for my previous orders

If I opened the cap i found that Sugar crystals were on the inside surface of the bottle. I think it was mixed with Sugar Syrup.

If at all it contains sugar syrup, it won’t melt in hot sun at around 41 degrees celsius. Please test that so that you be sure of it.

We don’t understand what you mean by smelling like jaggery. Natural honey does not have a single smell. It’s smell, colour, taste, density, crystallisation – all these properties keep changing for natural and raw honey throughout the year.

What you are experiencing is crystallisation of natural/raw honey. It is a natural property for raw honey to crystallise. The crystals of natural honey will melt around at 41 degrees Celsius (in hot sun). Whereas sugar or jaggery crystals don’t melt like that.
Please place your honey under the hot sun when it is around 41 degrees celsius for a couple of hours and then it will melt. It is a natural property of raw honey to crystallise. If it is sugar crystals or jaggery, it will not melt at 41 degrees celsius.

The honey quality is good but the plastic bottle which contains honey is very bad, infact pathetic. You can Slightly increase the cost and have a good quality plastic bottle otherwise this cheap plastic will leach into honey and benefits will be lost. Honey might be pure (as its my first time order and I haven’t tasted it yet) but the option of minimum quantity to order should be given to consumer. Setting minimum 4-(1 Litre ) bottles as base variant is not good.
